Robbie Williams on tour throughout Germany in summer 2017
There is only one popstar, who may dare to name his album „The Heavy Entertainment Show“. We are obviously talking about Robbie Williams, who managed to become one of the most successful solo artists worldwide after leaving Take That. So far he has sold over 70 million records. Of Britians 100 most sold records 6 are his and 14 of his singles went number 1 in the UK.
His concerts were a „Heavy Entertainment Show“ even before he named his album that way. Just watch the DVD of his 3 shows at Knebworth where he played in front of 375.000 people. They lay witness to his charisma and abilites.
We had to wait for quite some time, but now Robbie Williams will return and take stadiums and arenas by storm with his charme again.
The reason is of course his new album, which has been released in November. The first single „Party Like A Russian“ showed Robbie at his best already, same can be said about „Motherfucker“, that just seems to fit perfectly into a stadium show. Songs like „David’s Song“ and „Love My Life“ are great ballads and if you rather like the hip-shaking Robbie, you’ll be sastisfied with „Sensitive“ and „Pretty Woman“, two funky and lascivious songs just like „Rock DJ“ back in the days.
With a record of that quality and old favourites like „Angels“ or „Feel“ his five shows in Germany will not fall short of a „Heavy Entertainment Show“.
